BEACON RIDGE TENNIS
Beacon Ridge has a very active group of tennis enthusiasts, both men and women, who play doubles on various days of the week. Our tennis complex features three tournament-quality har-tru courts. This is a soft surface similar to true clay that makes them much more appealing. Each court is meticulously groomed for a superior tennis experience.
Our courts are for the exclusive use of our members and their guests. Guest fees for non-family are $10 per one and a half hours of play and are to be paid on the day of play. Courts may be reserved in advance through the Pro Shop either in person or by phone. All players must sign in at the Gazebo before playing.
TENNIS GROUPS: The following is information about our Men and Ladies tennis groups and includes a point of contact for each group.
Monday Ladies Tennis: This small group plays throughout the year and consists of ladies who enjoy playing doubles tennis; they typically fill one court, however it is often open for subs. Each month, members of the group provide their availability for the following month and a schedule is established based on member input. Once the schedule is set for the month, players are responsible for their own sub if necessary. For more information, contact Sue Shepard.

Wednesday Ladies Tennis: This group plays throughout the year and consists of women who enjoy playing doubles tennis (4.0). For further information, contact Nita Hartless.
- June through August – 9:00–11:00
- September through May – 11:30–1:30
Tuesday Ladies Tennis: This group plays throughout the year and consists of Ladies who enjoy playing more relaxed doubles tennis. Each month, members of the group provide their availability for the following month and a schedule is established based on member input. Once the schedule is set for the month, players are responsible for their own sub if necessary. This group always plays in the morning and start either at 9:00 or 10:00. Friday Ladies Tennis: This group plays throughout the year and consists of Ladies who enjoy playing doubles tennis, but some of the Ladies will also play singles if a doubles game cannot be arranged. Each month, members of the group provide their availability for the following month and a schedule is established based on member input. Once the schedule is set for the month, players are responsible for their own sub if necessary. This group typically fills two courts and has the following court times. Wednesday and Saturday Men’s Tennis: This group plays has one court and consists of men who enjoy playing more relaxed doubles tennis. They play from 10:00–12:00. If you would be interested in subbing in this group, contact Don Pollard.
Saturday Men’s Tennis: This group has two courts and consists of men who enjoy playing doubles tennis throughout the year. For more information, contact Hank Hartless.
