Beacon Ridge Golf Groups

Looking for a golf game? Beacon Ridge has something for everyone with a great selection of games, times and days. Here’s a rundown of what’s available for members.

Associations

Associations play weekly games year-round, and occasionally hold special weekend multi-day events.  Joining an association requires paying a membership due.  Members sign up for games in the Beacon Ridge Pro Shop.  The pro shop prepares scorecards for associations and players’ handicaps are officially tracked using the USGA’s GHIN handicap tracking software.  Games are usually played in an individual and team stroke play format.  For more information, please email the association’s designated contact person or call the pro shop.

Beacon Ridge Couples Golf Association (BRCGA)

The Beacon Ridge Couples Golf Association organizes couples golf tournaments for Beacon Ridge members.  There are seven events through the year, each coordinated by a couple from the club.

All events are shotgun starts followed by lunch at the club.  Individuals who do not have a partner for the event, may sign up individually, allowing the Pro Shop to arrange partners when possible.

Schedules and signup sheets for the tournaments are posted on the bulletin board in the Pro Shop by the locker rooms.  There is a $5 entry fee per Couple.

Visit the BRCGA webpage for more information and a schedule of tournaments.

Beaconettes

The Beaconettes are a 9-hole ladies association that plays every Thursday at 9:00AM. The league plays from March through November. Our dues are $35 each year that is used for weekly prizes and also year-end prize money.

Each week we have a new and different game. Some are individual games but many are team play. We have two tee boxes we can play from. Our regular red ladies tee box and we now have a senior ladies green tee box. This makes it easier for all skill levels, and hopefully will allow our ladies to stay out there and play as long as they can.

There will be a sign-up sheet each week on the Beaconettes board in the ladies locker room. Sign-up for play on Thursday’s should be done by Wednesday at noon.

The Beaconettes are committed to promoting fellowship, serving our members interest in golf and most importantly…..we really have fun. We all love the golf on Thursday, but just as important to us is our lunch after. We always have a great crowd and such camaraderie is what defines the Beaconettes.  Please come out and give us a try.

A calendar of games can be found on the Beaconettes webpage.
